Many athletes have broken records over the years and the saying goes that records are ment to be broken. I am honored to have trained an athlete who has accomplished such a feat. Marques Colston did not get the fan fare deserved by many in the media. Maybe it was because when Marques broke the all-time touchdown scoring record for the New Orleans Saints, Drew Brees was breaking an NFL record for most touchdowns thrown by a quarterback in consecutive games.

I know that setting the team’s all-time record is not as big as breaking a 48 year old record but consider this. Marques was barely recruited out of high school, he graduated from a university that does not even have a football program anymore. He was drafted 3rd from last in the 7th round which happens to be the last round in the draft. This young man has proven himself over and over again and has accomplished such a great feat. Marques is what we should all aspire to be, a humble, hard working individual who goes about his business and does what he is suppose to do. You would never hear it from Marques about the record but this is something amazing; from an unknown athlete to a household name. Anything is possible and the EXSP Nation wants to congratulate Marques. EXSP is also honored to have had the opportunity to work with him throughout his playing days. Marques Colston is unleashing his Potential every day.
