If you are an athlete looking to take your performance to a whole new level, then you need to start doing explosive training.  This is training that involves firing your muscles at an extremely fast pace.  Most exercise that people think of when it comes to explosive training is Plyometrics or Jump/Bounding training.  Such exercises consist of jumping, and bounding movements. 

These could be Squat Jumps, Tuck Jumps, Single Leg jumps, Power Skips, etc…  any type of movement that requires explosive moves or contracting your muscle to fire as fast as they can.  What I am going to be doing over the next few blogs is videos of explosive movements that you can perform to help improve your explosive speed.  Check back regularly to view these great videos.  Also go to www.exsp.biz for information on other training videos.
